Finding Out My Purpose
Now that I am older, I realize how much I love my mom. She is the kindest, most giving, and caring person I have ever met. I want to give her a better life. I want to have a safe, positive environment for my mom so she won’t have to live in fear again. I don’t know how she remains so strong and positive. If I was in her shoes, I wouldn’t have lasted three months. Hell, I’ve walked out halfway through plenty of dinner dates when my dates were rude, degrading, or miserable. I have zero patience for Tall Poppy Syndrome and people who are so insecure, they have to put other people down to make themselves feel better. Hard pass for me.
Also, throughout my journey, a lot of people have shown me tremendous kindness. I want to be able to give back to them and to the community, I am a part of. Both my business partner and I have plans to contribute to our communities through a variety of charities. I would like to help veterans and animals who need foster families. Animals will not pass judgment and can be the perfect friend for anyone who is settling into a new life. This way, we wouldn’t have lost Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield, who was gunned down by Eddie Ray Routh. Routh has struggled with PTSD after his service. Perhaps he didn’t trust sharing his experience with fellow humans, he turned to drugs and alcohol to numb his pain.
Throughout my journey, a lot of people have shown me tremendous kindness. I want to be able to give back to them and to the community, I am a part of.
“I’ve been searching for ways to heal myself, and I’ve found that kindness is the best way.”
– Lady Gaga
“Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.”
– Barbara de Angelis
